Southwest MLS Data Is Now Live on the SourceRE Data Marketplace

October 9, 2026

SWMLS activates governed vendor distribution and Data Dye™ forensic tracking, and opens a governed connection between its listing data and AI platforms through the SourceRE MCP.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — October 8, 2026— Southwest Multiple Listing Service (SWMLS) data is now available through the SourceRE Data Marketplace, giving vendors governed, RESO-certified access to SWMLS listing data under a centralized licensing and billing framework. The launch also activates SourceRE’s proprietary Data Dye™ forensic tracking technology across SWMLS feeds, embedding invisible, vendor-specific identifiers into distributed listing data to guard against unauthorized use.

With today’s launch, SWMLS vendor data distribution runs through the SourceRE Data Marketplace, a governed, RESO-certified platform that consolidates licensing agreements, vendor onboarding, billing, and compliance into a single environment. Vendors now have streamlined access to SWMLS data through standardized APIs, while SWMLS retains full authority over who receives its data and under what terms.

Alongside the Marketplace launch, SWMLS will use the SourceRE MCP to give brokers, agents, and consumers compliant access to SWMLS data through artificial intelligence. It functions as a single, direct connection between an MLS database and the AI platforms members and consumers use today, such as ChatGPT, Claude, and Grok.

“Our agents have already brought AI into the way they work, and this gives them a way to use it with accurate MLS data instead of whatever a scraper picked up secondhand,” said Teri Hatcher, SWMLS President. “Data integrity is something we constantly strive to achieve & protect, and that standard has to extend to AI. SourceRE lets us participate on our terms.”

“We are proud to partner with Southwest MLS to ensure that their data is secure, protected, and visible through the entire distribution chain,” said Andrew Coca, CEO of SourceRE. “Plus we’re thrilled to see the same principles being applied to AI. This way we can make sure that if AI is going to use MLS data, it happens through the MLS and on their terms.”
