SCWMLS MLS will use the SourceRE MCP to give brokers and agents compliant access to its data through the AI platforms they already use.
MADISON, WI — October 8, 2026 — South Central Wisconsin MLS (SCWMLS), the multiple listing service serving the Madison region and surrounding counties, has partnered with SourceRE to deliver governed access to its MLS data through artificial intelligence platforms. The partnership makes SCWMLS one of the first MLSs in the country to establish a controlled connection between its MLS data and the AI systems its members and their consumers use.
Today, portals, aggregators, scrapers, and other third parties serve as intermediaries between AI platforms and MLS data. This limits the MLS’s ability to enforce its rules, protect its intellectual property rights, and control how its data is used. The SourceRE MCP instead establishes a governed, compliant pathway under the control of the MLS. It functions as a single, direct connection between an MLS database and AI platforms like Chat GPT, Claude, and Grok.
