Idaho’s largest MLS will use the SourceRE MCP to give brokers and agents compliant access to IMLS data through AI. IMLS CEO Richard Gibbens joins the SourceRE Board of Advisors.
BOISE, Idaho — October 6, 2026 — Intermountain MLS (IMLS), the largest multiple listing service in Idaho, has partnered with SourceRE to deliver governed, fully compliant access to its MLS data through artificial intelligence. The partnership makes IMLS one of the first MLSs in the country to establish a controlled connection between its listing data and the AI systems its members and approved partners use.
Today, portals, aggregators, scrapers, and other third parties serve as intermediaries between AI platforms and MLS data. This limits the MLS’s ability to enforce its rules, protect its intellectual property rights, and control how its data is used. The SourceRE MCP replaces that uncontrolled access with a governed, compliant pathway under the control of the MLS. It functions as a single, governed connection point between an MLS database and any AI application.
Under the partnership, IMLS data will be accessible to AI systems, such as ChatGPT and Claude. IMLS retains the authority to grant, restrict, or revoke access at any time, and retains a complete record of how its data is being used.

The Board of Advisors brings MLS executives directly into SourceRE’s product and policy decisions, ensuring that the infrastructure SourceRE builds reflects the operational, compliance, and governance realities MLSs face.
